Download the Logo
Colour: graham_col.zip (530 k)
Black and white: graham_bw.zip (530 k)
Each zip archive contains eps, emf and jpg versions of the logo and a pdf version of the usage guidelines. For best results, use:
- emf with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other office productivity software. Because it is a vector image, it may be scaled to any size without distortion. Better for print; okay for screen.
- jpg with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other office productivity software. Because it is a raster image, it will distort when enlarged. For best results, use the jpg at the size provided or reduce it to suit your needs. Better for screen; okay for print.
- eps for projects involving professional design services and/or offset or digital printing. Because it is a vector image, it may be scaled to any size without distortion. Best for professional design/print.
Using the Logo
The logo guidelines set basic rules that are meant to reinforce a consistent brand image. They provide specific instructions for appropriate logo use and include an illustrated summary of these best practices:
- Download and use the official logos and guidelines from this website. Resist the urge to redraw the logo or borrow low-resolution images from the website to use in your project.
- Preserve the official logo colours. Don't change or screen them to suit your design. If you plan to print black and white, download the black and white version of the logo.
- Maintain the integrity of the original logo design. Don't separate or repurpose individual elements. Don't outline the logo, or enhance it with text or images. Avoid 3D rendering, drop shadows and other artistic embellishments.
- Respect the original logo proportions. Always resize proprotionately. Never warp, distort or rotate the logo.
- Give the logo space to do its job. Don't align it with the edge of a page, or place it too close to other text or graphic elements.
- Show the logo some respect. Don't use it as an inline graphic or bullet point. Avoid placing it on top of photos. Never use it as a watermark or in a repeating pattern.
- Support the logo's unique identity. Avoid combining it with other logos to create a new blended identity. Don't add text to create division or department logos.
- Ask for help. Not sure if you're using the logo correctly? Need a file format not available from this website? Send us an e-mail.
